Why not call this a twist on Harry Potter's Butterbeer?

ABV: 8%

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz. Muscatel wine
  • 2 tsp. Maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. Unsalted butter

Mix all ingredients avoiding bringing to a boil; pour in a glass.

Garnish: Fresh-grated nutmeg.

Look: Ochre yellow.

Aroma: Pungent fragrance with some grapey notes.

Flavour: Warm with a sweet taste.

History: This cocktail probably derives from a twist on the "hot buttered rum" recipe.
